beatmania peripheral

Some time ago when the ps2 was still popular I bought a beatmania game along with the peripheral. Will this peripheral work for this osu?

If you find a PS2 -> USB adaptor and use Joy2Key it should work, but would probably lag quite a bit.

It definitely does work if you use a PS2->USB adapter with Joy2Key. osu!mania is fun to play with a IIDX controller but most maps are not very IIDX controller-friendly since most osu!mania charts are made for fast "keyboarding". I used my IIDX controller for this purpose but I definitely did not have great accuracy on higher-leveled charts especially since home KOCs like the one you linked use rubber domes and are prone to sticking after a while.

If you just want to try it out and have fun though, it definitely works. :)

You could do what Luna said and increase the polling rate of your adapter to reduce lag

Or just use a PS2 -> Parallel Port adapter if you have the slots.
