Spectating random people usually regardless of song and mods etc can end up crashing the game.
It doesn't seem to be exactly reproducible in a certain manner, but after spectating the same person for 2-15 minutes the game will crash on its own for no apparent reason.
1) spectate person
2) wait a while
3) game is ded
It seems to be affecting more than just me, going off of #osu. Just recently started happening after the latest patch today.
