My mouse-wheel has been broken for months now, and I have no desire to replace it or fix it, since I wouldn't ever use it anyway EXCEPT for this purpose. There's already one for the user list, so it seems odd to leave this out for the chat area too.

This feature would also be useful to the other 99% of players that have working mouse-wheels, since they could use it to scroll quickly to the top (for example).

In order for this to happen I kind've need to rewrite the layout system for in-game chat. It is definitely something that needs to happen (as using the new scrolling area *would* be more efficient) but I am not sure when.

As has been said, pgup/pgdn are a good temporary solution!
