I personally think that old times were heavily affected by our perspective from then, from a time when one was just a tiny bit less knowledgeable about something. nostalgia also plays a role, in my opinion.

Yeah the older gen keep talking about the newer gen being cancer and dumb but they probably did the same thing back then
