Idk how the "official" ones were made (reform, shoegazer, etc.), but the way I know how to is by using Tippin's Rate changer: community/forums/topics/640981?n=1
There's a function in the program that allows you to combine all the selected difficulties into one marathon map, which would create the dan. From there you can edit stuff in the editor like od, hp, background, etc.
