I'm worried because I feel that my playstyle has been a bit ineffective.

I usually use the set of buttons of:

--left hand--
(Z) > [index finger] = Left Kat

--right hand--
(M) > [index finger] = Left Don
(,) > [middle finger] = Right Don
(.) > [ring finger] = Right Kat

First I think it's good for 3 button patterns to 5 pattern buttons even long repeating patterns (example: ddkddkddkddkddkddkddk) especially for 1 button repeating patterns like dddddddddd (osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/8284).
because in the past I had quite a bit of trouble with patterns above 3 buttons (a few times even 3 button patterns were difficult if tucked in between long and fast beats) then I changed that from kd-dk to the k-ddk.
At that time I thought it was quite effective because sometimes I could use only 1 hand to play while the other hand was relaxing (or can be used to massage the main hand) and it saves quite a bit of energy..
But when I get to 4 to 5 stars, I get pretty easy to run out of energy even just for 1 or 2 songs.

Then on difficulties above 5 stars, BOOOMMM!!!
When I'm dealing with difficult and complex patterns, I think there's my limit.

do i have to change my button settings ?

P.s : Sorry for my R.I.P English.. i was not good at it

If I were you I would try to relearn kd-dk just because your right hand will be dead on harder maps. Ideally both hands should hit equal amount of notes (full alt kd-dk). Also I think you may be capped physically by your right hand at some point if you stick with your current playstyle.

your current playstyle puts a lot of strain on your right hand and could increase the risk of injuries, I recommend relearning kd-dk before it's too late, and it allows for much more flexibility in terms of patterns that you can comfortably hit

ohhh thank you so much.. i wil relearn kd-dk again..
i never know about the "both hands should hit equal amount of notes" and i think its my big mistake beaciuse yes i think "capped physically by your right hand at some point" its a problem i had too now
and for the " risk of injuries" its kindda scares me too, and for "allows for much more flexibility in terms of patterns that you can comfortably hit" i think yes.. its stuck me why i have so little stamina to hit more than 7-10 hit

thank you so much again O.O/
