Scarlet's 1st Anniversary Tournanment
This is ScarletSisters who is host of it. (Some of you guys may know me already XD)
Since the second STT is almost done successfully, so I plan to host another tournament
Actually, I have played tournament like 1 year, and I think I want to commemorate it as my hosting tournament.
Will be happy to see you guys again if you join again and nice to meet you if you join at the first time!
Tournament Outline
1. This is a 3v3 double-elimination tournament for ranks 150k - 70k (Tier 3), 70k - 30k (Tier 2), 30k - 10k (Tier 1) with no rank buffer.
(5 players per one team as maximum)
1-1. If your rank is higher than 70K and 30K when registration ends, you would be moved up to a higher tier. (Moved as free agent player)
2. Each match will use ScoreV2 and NoFail mod will be used for every map. (except for SD in FM maps)
3. BWS system is gonna be used
BWS formula : rank^(0.9937^(badge number*(badge number+1)/2))
- Only count Osu!Standard tournament badge
4. The brackets will move as follows: Qualifiers, RO32, RO16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Finals, Grand Finals
5. If disconnect issues happen within the first 30 seconds of the map, players who had issues can play again or abort and restart.
5-1. About the rules of 30 seconds, referees can let player replay if player can prove himself that he left before the first 30 seconds. However, referees should decide based on MP link if player can't prove it.
5-2. When referees decide based on MP link, waiting time will be counted as well. (It should be penalty for player, so be sure to prepare proof when you have issues!)
6. Players are required to be in Discord for the duration of the tournament until completely eliminated.
7. We will use the size of mappool and points needed like follows:
6 NMs / 3 HDs / 3 HRs / 4 DTs / 3 FMs / 2 FLs / 2 HTs / 1 SPIN / 3 TBs in later round - 2 bans
7-1. Later round is different for each tier
7-2. In SPIN, ScoreV1 will be used! (NF is still same)
RO16: BO11 (BO9 in Tier 3)
QF: BO13 (BO11 in Tier 3)
SF: BO15 (BO13 in Tier 3)
F: BO17 (BO15 in Tier 3)
GF: BO19 (BO17 in Tier 3)
Match Procedures (Qualifiers)
1. In Qualifiers, teams participate freely in the lobby created by the organizer and play the prepared mappool in order.
1-1 : The order will move as follows : NM1 - NM2 - NM3 - NM4 - HD1 - HD2 - HR1 - HR2 - DT1 - DT2 - HT1 - FL1
2. Each team can reschedule until Tuesday 0UTC (If you don’t reschedule before that, you will be disqualified)
2-1. If a team can’t come in qualifiers lobby, the player can reschedule to another time. (Deadline is same)
3. Players can have 2 minutes break when each map is done (can start quickly if all players in lobby agreed with it)
4. Each map is gonna be played only once
5. If disconnect issues happen within the first 30 seconds of the map, players who had issues can play again when all maps are done.
6. After all qualifier lobbies are finished, all teams who participated will be placed on the leaderboards for each map of the pool and the sum of all placements will determine the final results (from lowest to highest).
6-1. Each team will be sorted by their score at each map and will gain relative score for their spot.
Match Procedures (Bracket Stage)
1. Teams must arrive less than 10 minutes after the start time of the match, otherwise, the late team will forfeit the match.
1-1. If the referee is not available at the start time of the match, Rule 1 won’t be applied.
2. Both teams may choose whether or not to pick a map for a warmup; this map can not exceed 4 minutes in length or be one of the maps in the mappool.
3. Each team rolls for picking order. Winner of the roll gets to choose one of two options (pick first / ban second or pick second / ban first). Depending on what stage the tourney is at, each team will get 1 or 2 bans.
3-1. In 2 bans stage, ban order is gonna be ABAB (first ban for team A - first ban for team B - second ban for team A - second ban for team B)
4. Each team will be allowed 120 seconds to ban or pick their map.
4-1. Teams are NOT allowed to ban from the same mod (NM is the exception). For example, team 1 can't ban both HR1 and HR2 during their banning phase.
4-2. Teams are allowed to pick from the same mod in a row.
4-3. Each team will lose ban or pick availability if 120 seconds are over.
5. A map will be aborted if a player disconnects within the first 30 seconds of the map. If there is a disconnect and the map is not aborted, the score for that player will be counted as 0 UNLESS a score is provided.
6. A player who disconnected must arrive in 10 minutes (If a player doesn’t come back at the moment, team would lose point)
6-1. If a player doesn't come back in 15 minutes, the team would FF.
FM rules
1. HD/HR/EZ/SD is available
1-1. 1 player should play with HD or EZ or EZHD, 1 player should play with HR or HDHR
1-2. 2x multiplier for EZ and no multiplier penalty for NM
1-3. 1.25x multiplier for SD, but 0.1x multiplier if failed
2. TB is FreeMod as well
Regulations
1. For staff, Only Streamer or Commentator or Referee can join this tournament as players.
1-1. Referee can play this tournament as well, but they can’t self-ref their match.
2. All players and staff should change their nick on discord same with nick on osu.
3. If controversy arises due to hostile attitude during the match or in the discord server, staff may confirm and forfeit them. (Please respect everyone)
3-1. Controversial situations include violating rules on discord (Be careful..)
