Try to have a balanced mapset
Your map has one 1.70 star difficulty, and two 4+ difficulties.
Consider making a Hard around 3 stars


[Insane]
Not too much of a problem in this map, but in your future maps try using Grid Size Tiny (ctrl+1).
If you use a larger grid size, the editor rounds to higher numbers for distance snap and other things which isn't great
Using a smaller grid size (or even disabling Grid Snap for certain combos) can make your object placement more accurate, and will allow you to make more precise sliders for blankets and such

00:28:811 (3,4,5,6,7) - This is sort of what I'm referring to about the Grid Snap. Using larger values makes your object placement more limited and you create unsmooth combos such as this
Try to place your objects so that they follow a general curvature

00:35:478 (3) - I don't recommend using a double reverse slider. You should break it up into multiple sliders or hitcircles

00:49:367 (3,4,5,6) - more smooth ^^

01:20:145 (5,6,7) - Using large Grid Snap also makes unstable distance snap such as this

01:44:145 (6,7,8,9,1) - smooth (like these! 01:56:145 (1,2,3,4,5) - )

03:07:256 (1) - I suggest you add two notes 03:07:256 - and 03:07:478 - before spinner start because those are very strong beats
It's good to emphasize strong beats with objects rather than using a weak spinner start

[YuZuKi]

HP 7 fits this map much better. Object density is slightly low for CS 5 & OD 8, so there's not much opportunities to get a lot of HP.
(also you have no breaks and instead have little pauses that drain HP without the player doing anything)

00:43:256 (1) - I suggest two objects before spinner start 00:43:256 - and 00:43:478 - because they are quite strong beats that can be emphasized well by hitcircles

00:50:589 (1,2,3) - I like the idea, but SV increase doesn't fit with the song. I think you should remain at a constant SV

01:00:034 (4,5,6,7) - the spacing is very hard to read. Your two sliders are 1/4 away from each other but the hitcircles are 1/2 away but they all have the same spacing. YOu should space out your (6) and (7) so that they look more like 1/2 beats away

01:49:034 (1) - same two note suggestion as other spinner (I know you might be mapping the vocals, but it's better to map the strong beats and THEN compliment the vocal with the spinner)

03:07:256 (1) - ^

- 不知是否還有其他難度的計畫,雖然最新的入榜規則里取消了3個難度中最多只能有一個Insane。但是兩個難度中不能含有Insane的規則仍然存在。由此推知3個難度裏面2個insane可能會被BAT找茬……因此建議添加一個Hard(不高於3.75星)難度。

Here is my mod from the channel on osu! I seperated them into different difficulties for the sake of no wall of text~

Normal
SPOILER
I found that the slow speed matches well with it being a beginner difficulty, and didn't really see any parts that could be deemed too difficult for the average, just wanting to play osu or just starting, player. The hitsounds were tailored very well in my honest opinion. With no awkward cymbol crash or sound that didn't belong. They flowed well with the song. The circles themselves were flowing well too, despite me not knowing the artist or even the language, I had a decent time playing the map myself.

Hard
SPOILER
I like how this builds on Normal mode, adding the slightest hint of tougher hitcircles, with the drain and approach rate tuned higher. Felt like it could be a good place for people that are just starting to play some tougher maps to start out, and keep trying until they are satisfied. I saw no way that could ruin someone's time there, good hitsounds and good circle placement and set up.

This seems like a faster map, that pairs well with Insane and Hard modes, nothing much to be said here in my opinion.

I like how the streams flowed with the song (even though I have no chance of doing them myself), in that they were short and not too bunched up. The speed seemed better for the song than the Style difficulty, although that difficulty wasn't too fast either, this just seemed much more comfortable.

Over all verdict:
I give this map a solid 8/10 where there's solid difficulties, but just maybe there could be an easy difficulty itself, just so some people feel comfortable downloading.

[General]
  1. Your colours are way too bright and may hurt players' eyes. Also, the green one does not look good with the BG and seems to be totally random. Plaease, find a better replacement for the colours, if it is possible.
    Note: feel free to contact me in-game if you have probems with it :)
  2. Kiais are inconsistent. According to the rules, kiais must be the same in all your diffs. Either change the kiai on Normal or copy them from normal to Insane and Hard. Also, they're unsnapped. :(
  3. Since you have no Widescreen storyboard, keeping the widescreen support toggler enabled is not necessary. Please, disable it for all diffs.
  4. Please, start mapping all diffs from the samme point. Keeping more consistency is always good. :)
    Note: you may need to add audio lead in, if you do so. Just edit your osu file and add 1000-1300 ms of lead in if necessary.
[Normal]
  1. Due to polarity/rhythm changes I higly suggest you reducing your HP a bit more. (2,5 would be better). Please note, that this is the easiest diff, and it should be playable for beginners.
    Note: ignore it if you apply the last suggestion.
  2. 00:18:597 (1,2) - such sliders sound off music and do not represent the song well. We can clearly hear that some beats like 00:19:042 - 00:19:486 - 00:20:819 - which have pretty strong vocals and/or drums are ignored. Try to use regular 1/1 or 2/1 sliders here instead and use long slider only when they're really necessary.
    Note: same applies to 00:22:153 (1) - and 00:39:931 (1,2) - 01:15:486 (1,2,3,4) - and so on. Please, pay more attention to rhythm. In easier diffs everything should be easy to understand, that is why it is very important to make everything matching with the music as much, as possible.
  3. 01:06:597 (5) - the way how slider changes its direction there is unreadable and looks really confusing. Having unreadable slider-paths is not rankable, a specially on the easiest diff of the mapset. Consider removing the red nod. Example
  4. 01:11:931 (1) - this is rankable, but the second repeat is pretty much unexpected and does not seem readable enough here. I'd rather use two 1/1 sliders. [url]=http://puu.sh/avKcp.jpg[example/url]
    Note: 02:17:708 (1) - same applies for this one, they are very similar, so, be consistent and apply for all such sliders or ignore it completely.
  5. 01:55:931 (4,2) - minor - consider avoiding stacks like this one. (2) appears way too fast aftr (4)'s disappearance. It may make players feel uncomfortable.
  6. 03:14:597 (1) - replacing this circle with an 1/1 slider would make yourrhythm much more playable and consistent. It will also fit great with the clap at 03:15:042.
    Note: since 03:18:597 - has practically the same sound, same applies to 03:18:597 - of course. Yes, and to 03:22:153 - as well.And so on, you got the idea. :)

    Just the rhythm being off in some sliders + some issues I've listed. The diff is not bad but could use some more work.
[Hard]
  1. 00:02:153 (4,1) - please, avoid random spacing changes. It looks good but it does not match with the music and feels kinda random here.
  2. 00:06:153 - the downbeat is unstressed and it feels like a different part of the song. Therefore, it's better to separate this beat. Remove the repeat from 00:05:708 (5) - and place a circle with new combo at 00:06:153. This way it will represent music better and make more sense in terms of rhythm.
    Note: same applies for lots of similar pattern and may require quite a lot of serious work, but the outcome is totally worth it!
  3. 00:39:042 (1,2,3,4) - try to unstack them a bit, so, they will be slightly more readable. Not a big deal, but that would be a help for some slow players.
  4. 00:43:486 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - are you sure about using jumps like these? They seem random and don't represent anything in the song. I highly suggest you to keep DS consistent here and use jumps only when they're actually needed. Same applies for the diff in general. Mapping is about making a map on the song, therefore, you should use jumps only when the song feels jumpy, this is very important.
  5. 00:59:486 (1) - if you listen closely, the slider is overmapped. Overmapping here feels confusing and out of place. You don't have to overmap, at least not in a Hard diff. Same thing about ovrmapping happens to 01:11:931 (3,4,5,6) -
    Note: you might want to check out this article it explains lots of things about rhythm, so, take your time and read it, it migh be very helpful!
  6. 01:01:931 (4,5) - sudden stop in a middle of a jumpy pattern it breaks the movement and feels really unpleasant Try to avoid it in ordr to make your diff more understandable and playable.
  7. 01:01:264 - sorry, but I strongly believe that you've picked the wrong SV multiplier here. x1.5 makes slider velocity way too fast and AR7 makes it look unbalanced and too hard to read. Also, the sliders become too fast for a Hard diff and the diff feels too hard. Unfortunately, the same applies for all kiais, so, I highly suggest you getting more opinions and consider re-mapping kiais.

    Not so much to say, you really need to get more opinions and consider re-working kiais.. Also, getting rid of the overmapped patterns would be a great idea. Feel free to contact me if you decide to remap kiais and need help with it.
[Insane]
I'm just goig to point out important stuff quickly, because most of the mistakes are common and happen often enough.
  1. Overmapping. Yes, overmapping makes the map confusing to play and makes rhythm of the song hardly understandable. 01:56:264 (2,4) - here is an example. The stream does not macth here and feels uncomfortable.
  2. Random spacing changes. Like 00:13:708 (2,3,4) - here and some others one. Previous patterns with the same sound had no antijumps, therefore this one is totally unexpected and can be misread as 1/4 triplet. There're lots and lots of patterns like 02:50:819 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - where chages are unnatural and hard to understand.
  3. Flow. A huge amount of your transitions feels very confusing or/and rather unpleasant in gameplay. It happens due to their hardly playable placement. You should check out this article about flow and take some ideas from it into consideration. Alternatively, you can use symmetrical patterns and similar things to improve your transitions, as well.

    Please, get more opinions from players and rake hte kisted things into consideration. I am sorry, but this is the best I can suggest for now, the diff definetely needs some cleaning and more workon general stuff. If you decide to improve the things I've listed but have problems with understanding them, I'll be more than happy to help you.
[YuZuKi's Style]
I see no connection between your username and the diff name. Also, that'd be btter to rename this diff to something related to the actuall difficulity of the map. Something like Insane/Hyper would match with this diff.
  1. Don't overuse hitsounds, for eexample 02:20:375 (7,8,9,10,11) - claps sound way too loud and don't match with the song. Same happens way too often. I believe that you are able to do it re-check and fix hitsounds your own, but if you have troubles with it - feel gfree to ask me or anyone else. :)
  2. The same thing about overmapping applies for your diff. But here it is not a big deal, just a few extra triplets like 00:28:931 (6).
  3. 00:09:264 (6) - indicating 1/4 jumps with a new combo would be a nice idea. It's a serious challenge and leaving them ignored would bug players a lot.
  4. 00:31:042 (8) - I have absolutely nothing agains this slowdown. Except the fact that it needs a new combo. NC will warn players about the velocity change and make it more readable.
  5. 00:43:486 (1,1) - please, give some more time to recover. Leaving an 1/2 gap here is not enough and it will bug players for sure. At least an 1/1 gap should be left here.
    Note: 01:49:264 (1,1) - same applies for allsimilar patterns. For example, 01:49:264 (1,1) - here.
  6. 00:55:708 (1,2,3) - minnor - mind unstacking them? The stack stops your flow and it does not feel so comfortable to play. :(
  7. 01:57:931 (1) - personally, i have no problems with this slider, but it's better to ask some more people to confirm that it is understandable and playable. Just to make sure.
  8. 03:10:819 (7,8) - feel like there should be a new combo on one of these objects. It would match with your pattern.
  9. 03:21:264 (5,6,7,8) - that was really unexpected and felt too confusing. Maybe you could avoid stacking here for the sake of playability?

    Without overmapping and with some flow improvements that would be a decent and really fun to play diff. Try to improve it more!

不是什麼mod拉但我覺得你在這首慢個不適合你現在這樣跳.. 有點像airman?? 你的形狀看起來都不錯但就把他們放近一點吧

基本上,这图已经很不错了。

1. 02:44:375 (1,2) - 我建议你做成这样……以下是02:42:597 (3,1) - 的建议,02:41:708 (2,2) - 也一样。总之就像是镜子这样就是了。要注意还是有reverse的。(不会表达的我)

Hard
1. 不算是很大的问题,不过……从00:19:264开始你就一直在围绕着中心转,不算错,但有一点无聊。可以的话,像之前那样把,乱跑一下也无所谓。

2. 00:54:153 (1,2) - 没有很完美地fit在一起,00:55:042 (3) - 要成为blanket也要做些修改。

- 00:39:931 (1,2) - I don't know why to shape like this...
- 02:47:486 changed to a slider like this.thought a little difficult but i think it's accpatable.

Hi, from my queue here.

General

  1. Red lines are inconsistent throughout all diffs. Change that of YuZuKi's Style to 820.
  2. Inconsistent tags.
  3. Most green lines in Insane and Hard are unsnapped. You can choose to snap kiai time green lines only if you are too lazy to snap all of them.
  4. I believe the correct unicode title is " 傷心的人別聽慢歌(貫徹快樂)" where the reference is here. Therefore, the romanised title would be Shang Xin De Ren Bie Ting Man Ge (Guan Che Kuai Le)". If you alter the title, remove the tag "貫徹快樂".
  5. Remove the source and let it blank. Album name cannot be placed there.
  6. You have an unsnapped preview time now. Set it at 01:00:486.
  7. "YuZuKi's Style" should be renamed to Insane and your Insane can enjoy the custom diff name because it's the highest difficulty.
  8. For Normal and Hard, it's more sensible to have kiai ending at 02:26:597 instead of 02:27:042.
  9. Tag suggestions: "Don'ts Don'ts" by Wiki, "Single", "Sad People Should Not Listen To Slow Songs (Stay Happy Through The End)" from the Youtube link above. You may want to add members' English names to the tag so players can find your map more easily.
  10. Personally, I am not a fan of the normal claps and whistles you use because they are annoying and don't fit the music. Try to find custom ones?

Insane

  1. 00:03:264 (3,4,5,6) - I really dislike this kind of overmapped triplets, osu is a rhythm game instead of a composing game. This plays much better imo.
  2. Seems you love overmapping very much. So, I don't put too much effort on listing out all the overmapped triplets and patterns. And you miss out many drums which is worthwhile to be mapped.
  3. 00:08:819 (6) - If you intended to have triplets, you can place them here coz you can hear clear instruments.
  4. 00:09:486 (9) - The rhythm choice here is quite interesting, in fact it's a 1/8 snap for the slider end and you miss out a drum at 00:09:597. So, what I suggest u is:
  5. 00:12:264 - Add a circle here for the drum and remove 00:12:708 (6).
  6. 00:31:264 - I would like to suggest you to map these fruitful drums here and I don't understand why you revive the mapping at 00:32:153 (1). It's neither a white tick or start of vocal.
  7. 00:45:486 - Again, place circles here and 00:45:597. I am still wondering why you overmap some triplets but choose to ignore these drums.
  8. 00:46:153 (4,5,6) - As the highest difficulty, map these streams please.
  9. This diff's rhythm needs much more work than I expected. I wanna stop here and let the mapper examine the map once again completely. What you need to do is to listen carefully and find out places for streams and triplets. Now I feel like the music and sliders going derailing.

YuZuKi's Style

  1. The overall volume of hitsounds are too high, you may need to reduce them by at least 20%.
  2. 00:02:589 (1) - Finish on head. Hitsound suggestions:
    SPOILER
    00:06:145 (3) - Remove the clap on head.
    00:09:700 (1) - ^
    00:13:256 (10) - ^ All of these claps make the hitsounds covering the music.
    00:54:145 (1) - ^
    01:20:811 (11) - ^
    02:26:589 (1) - ^
    00:32:811 (1) - Finish on head.

  3. 00:08:811 (5) - How about a triplet here?
  4. 00:31:034 (8) - NC for the SV change.
  5. 00:51:034 (2,3) - You probably need some NCs for indicating the SV changes.
  6. 00:53:256 (3,4,5,6,7) - I suggest switching them, because the drums at the back are much more obvious, aren't they? More obvious drums matching with clicks of circles is my perspective.
  7. 01:24:923 (4) - Delete this overmapped circle. Same applies on 01:48:034 (4) - 02:00:923 (5) - 02:07:367 (2).
  8. 02:13:034 (2) - It would be more sensible to change these into streams if you delete above circles.
  9. 02:34:145 (4) - You need to NC here for noticing the antijumps.
  10. 02:39:034 - The hitsounds ruin the guitar because they are way too loud, even louder than the music itself. Volumes need to be lowered like what I have said before.
  11. 03:27:923 (8) - Maybe a drum clap here.
  12. 03:28:145 (9) - Also, NC here because they are 1/4 jumps instead of 1/2 like 03:26:811 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8).
  13. 03:28:811 (1,3,5) - Whistle on these and head of (5).
  14. 03:29:589 (5) - Remove the clap on tail. Finish is already enough for the cymbal sound.

This map's draining time is 3:02, so I just mod several diffs instead of whole map. /me flee
