how do I do this (if possible)? because I can't figure out how to make a fast stream without changing the bpm to something very fast and I don't want to do that.

that's what the beatsnap divisor is for. It splits each beat into smaller ticks, most streams are sixteenth notes (sixteen notes per measure), so a 1/4 (4 ticks per beat) beatsnap divisor should be enough. the beatsnap divisor is found in the top right of the compose panel.
if youre sure your timing is correct and 1/4 isnt fast enough it could be a different beatsnap divisor though.
