  2. 00:52:613 (2,3,4) - ^ but make (4) in line.
  3. 01:51:645 (3,4) - Try make these symmetrical. Copy one of them and use Ctrl+H, Ctrl+J, then position it correctly.

Normal
  • 00:29:871 (1,2) - Align these?
    00:31:807 (3,4,5) - Make these notes in a straight line or make another pattern.

Background: BG-1 the height is a bit strange due to cutting off the black borders from the original image. A suggestion would be to make the height 576 so its in 16:9 format or just use the original with the borders: http://i.imgur.com/4z6UrlW.jpg | Your image does meet the requirements so no change is needed, these are just some suggestions you could do as upscale from 640p is a bit strange.

Storyboard: It says your storyboard doesn't use 13.png or 14.png, so if you can delete those, great!

For your horizontal scrolling text (1,2,9,11,12). I would suggest slowing them down quite a bit like you do with the vertical ones. Its a fairly slow song so even only moving a few (100?) pixels instead of moving across the whole screen would be great!

Very nice text image files though and it's nice seeing people put in the extra little bit of effort to create a visually appealing map.


[Easy]
Hitsounds General: You have a slightly odd way of placing whistles in this, you have some spots where you whistle on the first and third parts of a measure, and then some with the second and fourth. You can take this file: http://puu.sh/3O5ay.wav and rename it to soft-slidertick2.wav and use it for ticks on your sliders that miss the 2nd and 4th beats. Also be sure to duplicate your soft-sliderslide.wav and name it soft-sliderslide2.wav so there isn't any sound when using SC:2. Keeping a constant flow of 2 and 4 makes the whistles sound much better. You may want to make a drum-sliderslide.wav as well. Apply these suggestions to your Normal Diff.

  1. 00:05:194 (5) - Move to x160 y192 | Visually more appealing if notes aren't in a straight line all the time.
  2. 00:08:581 (2) - To follow the vocals better in this opening section, I would suggest starting this slider at 00:09:065 - instead. A little gap in this will make it a lot more enjoyable to play instead of placing notes every 1/1
  3. 00:10:032 (3,4,5) - maybe try giving these a bit more of an angle: http://puu.sh/3O4Ff.jpg
  4. 00:14:871 (1) - End this spinner at: 00:17:774 - so it catches the finish properly. add a finish hitsound to it as well
  5. 00:31:323 (1,2) - Combine these two sliders into one big long slider. I notice you try to follow the chimes and joining these sliders will play much better
  6. 00:33:258 (1) - Change from whistle to finish, maybe lower the volume for it slightly
  7. 00:37:129 (1) - Same as above, a finish works much better here. (at the head of the slider)
  8. 00:52:613 (2) - Add another finish here as well (slider's head) | Remove the NC at 00:51:161 (1) - and add an NC here as its the start of a new measure.
  9. 01:08:097 (2) - ^above and also NC here (remove the NC at 01:06:645 (1) - )
  10. 01:19:710 (4,5) - Add a reverse to the end of (4) and start (5) at 01:21:161 - This follows the vocals better.
  11. 01:22:129 (1) - I would personally end this spinner at 01:23:581 - to leave a bit more of a gap between this and the next slider. You don't need to catch the odd drum hit in this difficulty.
Overall: I would suggest using more custom sliders if possible to create some better shapes since easy difficulties are meant mostly to show your artistic side. You use a lot of curved and straight sliders, but that's about it. It makes the difficulty a bit bland this way. Try playing around and see what you can come up with :)

  4. 00:33:258 (1) - Finish at the head (lower volume)
  5. 00:33:258 (1,2,3,4) - Little something you can try. At the end of each slider, put a Clap from the drum sampleset (reduce volume) on the last (4) slider, put another drum clap on the reverse arrow. :)
  6. 00:37:129 (1) - Finish at start of slider
  7. 00:44:871 (1) - Multiple reverses have always bugged me in easier difficulties because they are just so unpredictable. lengthening the slider by 1/2 and removing 2 reverses (so its like the upcoming (3) circle) even works fine. or maybe try some 1/2 red notes here if you want.
  8. 00:52:613 - Finish at this slider's end
  9. 00:57:452 (2,3) - same suggestion about the reverse sliders, maybe remove a reverse and put 2 1/2 circles instead of just 1
  10. 01:07:613 (4) - Another finish on the tail
  11. 01:15:839 (2,4,5,6) - Stack the (2) and the (4). Take (5) and curve the 3 1/2s a bit | (6) needs to be nudged over as well | http://puu.sh/3O6Mf.jpg
  12. 01:22:129 (1) - same as easy, end this spinner 1/1 earlier
  13. 01:32:290 (3,5) - honestly would look better stacked or moved away from each other
Again, this could use some more work, but it follows the beat/vocals much better. Don't be afraid to experiment with new things :)
