What does the tablet sense?

So If my "nib" breaks what does the tablet sense? I bought a bamboo connect CTL470. I'm into "hovering" now.

It senses a circuit inside the pen. You don't need the nib to play osu! (unless you tap with the tablet pen).

Oh okay so the only thing to worry about is losing the pen or it flying out of your hand?

If I'm not wrong a wacom tablet pen is pretty expensive...

Haven't lost mine in 3 years, just store it everytime you stop using it *___*

i play without a nib.
the pen and the tablet are the 2 things you will ever need

Gently grip it out with a pair of scissors. (Obviously don't grip it too hard)

Personally I prefer using a soft 'fluffy' nib (almost frictionless so it doesn't wear down) which came with my Wacom tablet.
Looks like this (the white bit on the end is a sort of fabric or something).
It's the only nib I use because the others wear down too fast.

I tried hovering, too shakey. >-<

If you hover, just keep your wrist in a comfortable position and you'll get used to it after playing a little.
