need help with changing map status and submitting descriptions

Hi everyone.
I'm a new mapper and having some trouble submitting my first beatmap.
Before the map was completed, I submitted the map under WIP section and updated it whenever I made major changes.
However, when I was ready to change the "WIP" flag to "Pending", I selected "Pending" instead of "WIP" in the beatmap submitting program and wrote beatmap descriptions.
But when I checked the web page, it was still flagged WIP and descriptions were not updated as well.
Is it a bug or I'm doing something wrong?
Hopefully someone could help.

basing on the quick description you gave of how you did the thing, sounds like you probably ain't doing it wrong (unless you somehow canceled the process or something), so I don't really know. For starters, have you just simply tried again? In case it was something like BSS being down or hiccuping, or some random other crap, you could have more luck when trying again

if it for some reason would actually be some bug or problem that is now tied to the set itself, then easiest would be to just nuke the old and re-submit the whole set straight to pending
