As it stands right now, there isn't any confirmation required to restart or exit a song while playing. As a result, it's relatively easy to exit prematurely in the middle of a song, when that may not be desired.
What I'm suggesting is an option that when enabled, would prompt the user "Do you really want to quit/restart?" whenever they tried to quit or restart. Since it would be a user option, players used to the current system would be able to safely ignore it and continue on with their osu! lives.
This is a relatively minor request, but it's just something I thought that would be useful (plus there have been multiple times when I've accidentally quit a song prematurely :/).
