I think the song will do good if it's without the video, it's not matching the song's pace, -1 for the video 5/10
This is just the basic pop formula thrown into a song. 3 Chords, simliar song progression, standard snare build up and focus on the vocals and hook of the song.

Apparently many songs from Dave Weckl with just the audio are not on youtube but this cover nails the drums pretty good. If you have spotify you can find it there instead.

The instrumental in this song is surprisingly good. Complex chords and some interesting rhythms and accents during breaks in the vocals. I can't say much about the vocals since I don't know a lot about it, but overall the song is pretty good. 8.2/10
