how do i edit my osu skin i've done it before but i forgot. I wanna change the slider ball thing to transparent a make my cursor a red dot with a trail

You simply need to replace/change/edit the files in your skin's folder and then reload the skin in osu!. In the osu! settings in the skins section, there should be an "open current skin folder" which will take you right to your skin. To make the sliderball invisible, replace the sliderball image with a 1x1 pixel transparent png file with the same name. Also do whatyou need to for the cursor and such, then go back to osu! if you have it open still and press ctrl+shift+alt+s to reload your skin, or just open osu if you closed it :)

theres no sliderball image in the file what do i do to change the slider ball

You'll have to add one then, the file name for slider balls is sliderb.png if i'm not mistaken, you'll just want to add an invisible 1x1 png image like I said above but with that file name into your skin's folder
