What I suggest is 2 things to the chat interface:
- Have the 4 game mode chats open by default
- Add the litle (x) on the osu tab to allow non-standard players to easily close the chat.
Being an osu!mania player, I hate to see the osu!mania chat always dead. I notice most new players go about chatting in the osu channel without ever knowing that the mania chat exists. If by any chance they do, they'll be greeted with an empty chatroom and never show up again. I'm sure this applies to CTB and Taiko also. Doing this will allow new players to immediately see the 4 main channels and appropriately start socializing with other players in their game mode.
I honestly believe that this small change will have greater positive effects in the other game mode's community, so please give it some thought!
