About 20MB size is little tough to convert high quality back ground video
especially when you encode ornate MV of pop

overlay this pattern can make much better look

It's just 3x3 dot pattern

here is 20MB back ground MV before use this parttern

and after overlay this pattern (please click)

can see the difference?
that blurs blocks and cracks can't be see and video looks much smoother
Request create overlay pattern option that work with BG video in beatmap editor mode for mappers
this overlay pattern must disappear together if player disable BG video

This method is extensively employed which like promotion site of mobile phone or notebooks that uses background video of CM
boat
Yeah and then you got a bunch of dots in the way. Blocking out the ugly doesn't really work.
Lanturn
Idk.. I made a 18.3 MB video myself and this is in a full 1920x1080 resolution.. it turned out fine for me. I don't see a reason to implement this because even with little knowledge of converting videos, you can still make a pretty decent one.

Just use this thread and don't be afraid to attempt converting the song multiple times until you get a good balance between quality and size.

Heck no; that shit is offensive to the eyes even more so than blurry upscaled videos themselves.

It's really not that hard to learn how to convert and enhance the image quality after a bit of time spent with guides like the one blissfulyoshi made which you can find here.

Well, what's the source and its quality? I find it weird how Lanturn has such a crisp video and you have that.
