Wireless tablet vs latency.

I'm curious if this will cause latency. I would assume so but I remember hearing a discussion with GCN wireless controllers and it having virtually no latency.

"Virtually no latency" is still quite a lot in games like this where milliseconds matter.
You won't notice it in most games, since it may be less than a frame delay at 60Hz, but if you play OD10 in osu!, differences of even 5ms are noticable. Just for reference, one frame at 60Hz (smallest unit used in many console games) is almost 17ms long.
Personally, I wouldn't risk it.

It depends on the technology that they're using. For example, the Bluetooth on PS3 has more latency than the 2.4GHz wireless that the Xbox 360 uses, while on PC the wireless technology on many mice have as much latency as wired mice, if not less due to the polling rate.
If you can stay wired though, I'd advise doing so. I wouldn't risk it.
