So I'm working on a standard map of seiryu - AO-∞, and I thought it'd be cool to end the song with an ∞ sign made from a slider, but there's only one problem...

I have no idea how to make slider art.

How do mappers create exact shapes using Bezier sliders? Is there a special program? Is it as simple as guessing with points until it looks right?

Thanks!

Edit: So here was my strategy, in case it helps anyone:
  1. Decide the path of the slider using only red anchors (and optionally, the grid too).
  2. Calculate the length of the entire distance covered using the Pythagorean Formula (a^2 + b^2 = c^2).
  3. Divide the length distance of the slider by the duration that you want to get the ideal speed of the slider in px/beat.
  4. Divide THAT by the px/beat of the map itself (Hint: it's 100 px/beat on 1.00x sv.) to get the ideal slider velocity for the slider itself.
That was indeed a nightmare to figure out, but we did it!

chek it community/forums/topics/689531 and you can also use the slider merge tool in the mapping tools to create slider arts from simple shapes.
