K man. But if you're laning against someone who's at the same level as you, you're most likely not going to win your lane if he has a full rune page. Even if you counter him there is a very low chance of beating him..

before level 30 nobody has a full rune page, and if hes just started hes probably nowhere near there :3
even then its mostly down to skill, the bonuses runes give are relatively tinyyy

Relatively tiny? At level 1, someone with runes starting with boots and pots can reach over 40 AP without an offensive item, while someone without can't even reach 15 or so..tyrael6192 wrote:

at level one the slots aren't unlocked and you can only use tier one runes.. i think you're forgetting that

im not saying dont buy runes altogether, im saying save it and buy them later on when youre closer to 30.. before then they're much less 'efficient' so to speak

Good points. In fact, character blandness is usually the most common complaint I see. I like how the story is more focused in the nations than the characters themselves, so this is probably personal taste. Vaan was pretty dull, but I've always seen Ashe as the leading character... not that it's any better, ha. Well, I like Ashe though.awp wrote:

Balthier and his bunny-lady helper (It's been ages since I've played a game from Vanadiel - it was Vanadiel, right? That wasn't FFXI's place?) Fran or whatever were the best characters imo
