How do non 4k/7k ranked charts apply to pp/rank?

Since they are not ranked, they don’t affect pp or rank at all. However, they do affect your playcount and playtime if I’m not mistaken(correct me if I’m wrong). Same with unsubmitted, loved, and qualified maps.
But they are ranked tho??? There's plenty of non 4k/7k mapsets out there that are ranked, and they definitely give both pp and rank. The only unranked modes are 1-3k and 9k if I recall correctly.Haengsyo wrote:

To answer OP's question, it applies the same way that 4k and 7k maps are. You get pp from the map, it's on your top plays or gives you enough to pass the pkayer(s) above you, and you get the rank. If you are talking about the separate stats the game shows you for 4k and 7k on the profile; I vaguely remember hearing that anything above 4k (so 5k and above) all gets shoved into the 7k stat. So all the 6k pp you earn gets calculated into your 7k pp and rank and so on. Keep in mind that's just anecdotal though so take it how you will.

I thought OP meant unranked 4/7k maps. I misinterpreted what they were trying to say in the titleDelta386 wrote:

I believe the 7k stat is exclusively from 7k scores, based on how I remember the number remaining the same after farming some 6k and a quick look at this site (the 7k numbers agree, and this website seems to only consider 7k scores in the calculation)Delta386 wrote:
