You shouldn't give up this easily. You only played for 1 month. I don't remember being able to pass 5* and FC 3.9* when I played for 1 month, let's say I was happy of passing 3.5* maps. It's ok. You'll get better eventually. It might take years but you will get #1 br eventually. Just don't give up now.

I haven't had a top 5 play in 4 months, play more and play for fun.
Not to mention getting better at anything and getting high in the ranks takes a lot of time, especially when others have been playing for years.
