Earlier today I was around rank 15,000. I completed a couple of songs, got a couple of S's, rank was decent and my rank was getting better, but then all of sudden my rank started to drop for no reason, so now I am currently 17,800. I am fairly certain that my pp is dropping, but for what reason? Is it because people are placing higher than me in songs that I have played, and thus bumping my rank down?

It's not just happening to you, it's everyone.
I dropped 50 ranks in one day and that shouldn't even be possible being that high in the rankings.
