This is sort of related to the beatmap text being black while not being selected.
I don't know how often it happens, but I once searched for a beatmap by title, then clicked a beatmap, and directly after, held backspace to clear the search, then realized I couldn't click the beatmaps to select them at all. Escaping back to the main menu by pressing escape or clicking back and going back to beatmap selection resolves this, but if you have a plenty amount of beatmaps, this can get kind of annoying to avoid.
The cursor is enlarged because I clicked the beatmap to no avail.
