How to cut beatmaps short

I wanted to map a 3 min song but now im lazy and doing tv size .
How do i cut the song whilst saving the rest of the map that ive done

you can edit and replace the audio file with audio editing software just fine without deleting the objects

what audio editing software ? its my first map so idk anyth haha

well, you cant shorten audio with the in game editor, you can ignore the end of the song and leave it blank if you want, it wont be rankable, but your first maps wont be rankable anyway.

I think most people on Windows use Audacity to edit audio though.
