Same parts

So, i'am new to mapping and i try to map a song, but now i got some parts that are the same for example the hook is more then one time in this song. Do i copy and paste the pattern 1:1 or do i change it up a bit or do i do something completely new there? I really don't know how to deal with it.

It's pretty known in the mapping community that copy-pasting a whole section is very bad and lots of people dislike it;
so I'd advise you to not do that.

It'd be cool to have some variety in your map WITHOUT breaking the consistency of it!
but since you're new to mapping I'd say you should do what you can and not worry much about it :D

Also here's the official osu! mapping tutorial if you haven't seen it, it's very helpful on getting a basic idea of mapping.
