Weird Accuracy on certain songs

99% of taiko songs I usually play have very natural feeling patterns and accuracies, but there are certain songs that make no sense when it comes to my accuracy or timing. I could try to get as close as possible to the rhythm but it still comes out in these choppy looking sections that are spot on each other letting me know that I am consistent but in the wrong way. Anyone know whats going on or how to fix my rhythm? I tried every possible timing and it always comes out like this.

But then I hop on another similar song with the same patterns same type of rhythm and all of a sudden everything is nice and smooth again

this is really late, but i'm p sure this has something to do with your keyboard's polling rate, check out this video by Tokaku to see a bit more about it. personally i'm not sure what you can do about this, my input device is 1000hz so i never had this problem, you might want a new keyboard, or there might be something you can do about your current one, but you'll need to do your own research

edit: one thing to note is the first map, My Own Grave, is 250 BPM, and the second map, Everything Will Freeze, is 240, go check a load of 250 BPM maps and see if the same issue arises

This is definitely the issue. Now I know why I got those weird timings when playing. I kept trying to listen in and make my presses at the exact time I heard it and it never went between those timings. Thanks for the info.
