Add "カーニヴァル" in the tags because it's the name of the anime but in japanese. Add also "anime". Is it an ending? Write it in also.
KARNEVAL must not be in capital

This doesn't really feel like [Insane] imo, it just feels like a different version of [Hard]. A lot of the patterns feel recycled. Might just be me though.

Consider adding "sheela901" to all of your tags.

There are a lot of unsnapped green inherited points in every difficulty, you have to resnap them! You simply do this by going to the position where the inherited point normally should be, then press -> Timing -> Timing Setup Panel -> (on the left) Press the ´Use Current Time´ button.

Imo Grid Level 4 is the best for mapping. Consider using it while mapping.

You will need an Easy if you want to rank this map.


Normal

The distance spacing in this difficulty is very inconsistent. Usually, you should have a consistent spacing in a Normal which is not the case here. You could use 1.20x for example.
This Normal is way too Hard at some parts. There shouldn't be jumps at all in a Normal difficulty.

  1. 00:05:265 (1,2) - This is a real jump, something like this shouldn't be in a Normal. Decrease the distance to around ~1.20x if you want to have a Normal, not a Hard. I suggest you to move it to x:280 y:232 (Grid Level 4). Would play a lot better for a Normal!
  2. 00:07:884 (2,3) - The distance between them is waaay to far! Something like this fits into a Hard or Insane, not into a Normal. I highly suggest you to move (3) to x:288 y:352 (Grid Level 4). Will look like this: (Example in Box). You will have to move the following objects with Distance Snap enabled too.
  3. 00:14:789 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - The spacing between them is again too far for a Normal. Decrease the spacing between each of these to ~1.20x if you want to have a Normal, not a Hard.
  4. 00:17:884 (3,1) - They are overlapping which looks and plays strange, you can simply fix this by moving (1) for example to x:308 y:280 for a normal spacing. Will look and play better!
  5. 00:37:646 (5) - Finish at the head of this slider would fit pretty good since there's a finish in the song itself at this position too!
  6. 00:37:646 (5,6) - Distance between them is too far, should be around ~1.20x not 2.00x! With 1.20x Distance Snap enabled, you could create a blanket between these two, like I did here: (Example in Box). Will play and look a lot better than your previous version!
  7. 00:44:789 (3) - I think you forgot a finish at the end of this slider, you can clearly here there's one in the music so it would fit perfectly.
  8. 00:47:646 (1,2) - Decrease the distance between these two since (2) is too far away, and increase the distance between 00:48:836 (2,3) - them since there's a little break until you have to hit (3). Leaving it as you did will confuse the player a lot.
  9. 00:58:598 (4,5) - This jump is not acceptable for a Normal. Decrease the distance between these two objects to around 1.20x!
  10. 01:02:408 (1,2,3) - Pretty much the same for these three as mentioned above. This jump pattern fits into a Hard / Insane not into a Normal! Consider changing this into a normal part without jumps!
  11. 01:13:836 (5,6) - Same here, decrease the distance. It's a Normal difficulty, there shouldn't be 3.00x jumps.
  12. 01:26:217 (1,1) - This is too hard for a Normal, the circle after this short spinner is too close. Players that can only play Normal difficulties will have problems with this part. Consider making it easier. For example, delete 01:27:170 (1) - and extend the spinner to 01:27:170 - . That will fix this problem! Should look like this then:

Hard

  1. From 00:09:432 - to 00:10:384 - : I really don't see a reason for leaving gaps like this in the beginning part. Try to map to the Beat/Rhythm too, not only to his voice.
  2. 00:23:122 (8) - The finish at the end of this slider doesn't fit here imo, I'd add one to 00:24:313 (1) - since this fits with 00:20:027 (6) - the finish at the end of this slider.
    So, remove the finish at the end of 00:23:122 (8) - and add one at 00:24:313 (1) - .
  3. 00:23:122 (8,1) - What about creating a blanket with these two? Would fit and look better imo! Like so:
  4. 00:32:170 (1) - This circle doesn't fit in here imo, especially the hitsounds of it.
    I reccomend you to delete this circle, but then don't forget to add a NC to 00:32:646 (9) - !
  5. 00:37:170 (6,7) - They aren't stacked properly, moving (6) to x:432 y:168 would fix this!
  6. 00:39:313 (1) - Adding a normal / soft finish at the end of this slider would fit perfectly, so consider adding one!
  7. 00:39:313 (1,2,3) - The overlaps between them don't look nice, just move each object a bit apart so that they aren't overlapping anymore.
  8. 00:41:217 (2,4) - Same with these two as mentioned above. You could change the shape of (2) or just move (4) to fix this.
  9. 01:04:313 (3) - The finish should be at the head of this slider, not at the end. Then it would fit to the music.
  10. 01:17:646 (2) - Curving this slider more like so: (Example in Box) will look and play better imo.

  1. 00:00:979 (1) - Since this slider is placed before the red timing point, it's unrankable. You should delete this slider.

  5. 00:47:884 (1,2) - The spacing of (2) is a bit unusual, normally it should be at x:168 y:88. Would play better.
  6. 00:53:836 (5) - This slider looks a bit old school, using a normal curved slider would fit and play better here imo. For example, as I did here:
  7. 00:55:979 (1,2,3) - If you move (3) to x:144 y:152 you'd have an triangle pattern which looks and plays much better than your previous one. Will look like this:
  8. 01:03:598 (5,6) - The transition between these two doesn't look that nice, what about using a mirrored slider pattern as I did here (Example in Box)? Will fit and play better!

Looks okay, but the rhythm is confusing. Also, recheck the DS in this map, since some of it is messed up.


Flow is bad, plus there's some really bad and confusing overlaps, which cause me to miss a note or two.


Oh hey, I actually passed this diff. Sliders are too slow, and the rhythms also unpredictable.


...Feels more like a Hard diff imo.

so, I wrote this whole mod just now and wanted to post it and my computer decided to let a blue screen pop up.. and everything's gone.
and I am a tiiiiny little bit annoyed by that, so please excuse me, if I sound rude. I don't mean it that way. ><


[General]
  1. check AIMod for
    - Audio Preview Time
    - Letterboxing
    - Video file size
    if you have problems with rendering down your video, you might find someone who can help you here: t/128701
  2. also, if you include a custom hitcircle, you have to include an approachcirlce and hitcircleoverlay as well.
  3. your Normal is too hard for the easiest diff of a mapset, the max star rating is 3.30 (iirc). if you fix the Normal it should be easy enough, but you might want to add an Easy to your mapset.
[Normal]
  1. - make sure to have a consistent distance spacing inEasy/Normal diffs, it's essential for readabilty.
  2. 00:07:170 (1,2) - use a copypasted, 180° rotated version of 1 for 2. if you take a close look - the lower circles overlap while the upper don't, it doesn't look good.
  3. 00:14:789 - don't change slider velocity here. it's too hard to play and furthermore there is no indicator for changing the speed.
  4. 01:10:265 (1) - don't hide circles like this (at least not in normal diffs), it's not easy to read.
  5. 01:26:217 (1) - imo this spinner is too short, replace it somehow or extend it?
[Hard]
this diff looks much quite good already. just some suggestions:
  1. 00:06:217 (5) - use similar style as for 00:05:503 (4)?
  2. 00:13:836 (6,7) - pay attention to overlaps like this. imo they don't look nice and I'd prefer 100% visible objects (stacked objects excluded!).
    same here: 00:20:027 (6,1)
  3. 00:26:932 (8) - increase angularity a bit imo this has more character than the current.
    same here: 01:02:170 (5)
  4. 00:57:408 (5,1) - DS feels weird here
I'll skip sheela901's Insane for now, sorry. x: -lazy and in a baaad moooood-

looks nice as well
I just kinda expected 'more' than this, cause it's not "Insane" but a custom name.. .o.
  1. 00:18:122 (6,7) - it's the same in this diff with those overlaps
    also if 6 is supposed to be aligned to 00:17:884 (5) pay attention to the approach circle of 5 and use it as a referance for the shape of the slider.
    (in this case you should move the last anchor point of 6 to 296|44 for example, that way it matches with the cirlce)
    the same goes for 00:17:408 (4) btw. - and many more, I'm too lazy to point them all out. s:
  2. 00:28:122 (1) - stack this with 00:27:408 (9)'s end correctly
  3. 00:45:027 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - shape of this stream looks rather random, maybe think of another form?
