I don't mean to stir up any drama or start any trolling but I do seriously see where this guy is coming from. That doesn't mean he acted correctly or dealt with the situation appropriately, but I would be seriously pissed off if I made a thread and it got locked after a reply or two. I sometimes think that if another well known user made the same thread, it wouldn't have been locked. Rubbish threads are going to be rubbish anyways. I wouldn't personally post rubbish like that but I would definitely be pissed off if a thread of mine got locked that swiftly. I am also in no position to be saying you acted wrongly (in fact, I think you dealt with it appropriately Wojjan). I just wish people didn't need to ridicule themselves like this in public.
When will people learn?
Hydro, you could have seriously avoided a lot of butthurt if you took just a LITTLE bit of time to see how we operate around here. I'm not exactly a regular but I contribute to posting around here every now and then and you don't see me doing egregious things like that on a regular basis. Make a bit of an effort to fit in before you post like you own the place, okay? And if off topic is not your cup of tea (which you have probably decided that it's not) then I'm sure you can find another community that would be more than willing to post about towels. And if you are having trouble finding one, don't make the same mistake you did here.
