Morning skill boost after breakfast

I open osu, I warm up by playing some easier maps. Then I play harder maps. I do really well! But after 2 hours, I get worse. Which sucks because if I take a break, my hands will just get stiff for the rest of the day (i dont have carpal or whatever btw)

So, how do I play for a longer period of time without my skill deteriorating? Or is that my actual skill, but just starting to play just makes me epic? Or is 2 hours all I need? You know, I always thought 6 hours or something was excessive and a waste.

(I don't actually immediately play mania when I wake up but after I have a meal, usually)

2 hours for 1 session is an above average amount of time already, any more time than this causes diminishing results (a decreased amount of skill gained from the same amount of time played and same amount of effort). its not good to have sessions too much longer than this because it will cause your skills to stagnate or go down as you're wearing your hand out more than you're supposed to. its like working out for twice as much as you normally do, than feeling fatigued halfway through because you're tired. 2 hours is fine, and in fact anything between 1-2 hours is also good

For me personally, I reach my peak after 2 hours of warming up, and that peak lasts for around an hour before I start losing focus and stamina. Its perfectly normal, so don’t sweat it if you start underperforming even after a short time. Not every day will be the same and some days might feel super crummy to play. It’s all part of the osu! improvement experience.
