It might be nice to have a Force Widescreen Storyboard checkbox on Visual Settings. It forces the storyboard to be widescreen.
When you check that, two radio buttons would appear, so you could choose between 'Ignore Black Sides' and 'Fill Screen'
If Ignore Black Sides is on, the black area on the sides would just disappear, so storyboard elements which are supposed to be off-screen would show up. On the other hand, Fill Screen will scale the entire storyboard, so it fills up the screen, similar to how videos are scaled.
