Just making my own beatmap and want to split it up into sections like after a part of the song it might say ''Section Failed/Passed'' then show your score (S, A, etc.) but have no idea how to do this and need help. sorry for being dumb

If theres a long enough time gap between two objects the game will place a break automatically.

You can also click Insert Break Time in the top right corner to add a break even when the editor doesn't add one automatically. You do still need to have a gap of at least 1.359 seconds (yeah, weird) in order to be able to force a break, though
