Poll says it all, but I'm curious about this~

Yeah, Whatever I feel like
Sometimes I mod just one difficulty out of lazyness xD

Easy to hard

First I start out with the boring difficulties, then work my way up to the fun difficulties! :)

whatever I feel like, yeah, I hope this means randomly, if not, there should be one, cause I don't really FEEL what to mod, I just chose randomly.

sometimes I jump straight to hard or start with easier ones
I also start from the first one I click (download > edit > enter)
most likely the one I play first, that's how I mod (play > mod > done)

Easy -> Difficult

Generally whatever I feel like. More often than not it's Hard to Easy, but there are exceptions. I find that the harder difficulties are the "main" difficulties of a song, and thus it is more important to find any potential problems with them before worrying about the lesser difficulties.

In modding, I don't bother with things that wouldn't be noticeable in the grand scheme of things ("improper stacks" that appear as other stacks do during gameplay).

This.

Also, I tend to play the easier difficulties, and leave |Auto|/watching in editor to the harder difficulties. It makes things easier for me.

Easy to Hard, because it's more climactic that way :P

Easy -> Hard

As per my habits, I always start off by scrutinizing the timing. Once I'm happy with the timing, I'll throw the map into test and for easier difficulties, just play it. On harder difficulties I'll let auto take over. While testing, I'll keep a finger near the F2 button in case something jumps out as abnormal/unsatisfactory. Then I'll take a look at the section/neighboring sections where the perceived oddity occurred to see what's going on. Then, where needed, diagnose.

Easy to Hard, Hard to Easy, No diff.

I just watch it go in edit mode and catch stuff like Evil Beats or Weird Spacing.

Typically Easy to Hard, but I find myself doing Hard to Easy almost as often.

I like modding Hard stuff, that's because most errors are found in Hard, usually. And I wanna be better at modding so I always start at Hard first to give a challenge?

Actually, more often than not, more errors are in the easier difficulties and the harder difficulties are more refined. That's because sometimes people just throw together an easier difficulty after spending all of their time and effort on a harder difficulty.

I play the hardest, make note of anything that was confusing/out of place/etc in the map, check it out in editor. Afterwards I just repeat for each difficulty, from hardest to easiest.

I usually fine-tune the timing while playing using local offset. Most of the time I can tell if the BPM is off rather than the offset. If it's the BPM that is off I'll usually stop playing the map at the exact time I notice it and check it out in editor from there.

I like modding harder difficulties because its more to look for since hard should be a beatmap with more notes than normal ones.
I usually just fix the spacing and try to consider the beatmappers' style before I suggest changing something. Most mod posts need to be like that.
( Unless you're modding a really noob beatmap )
