Problem details:
I just got the Razer Viper 8Khz mouse. It has a 8000hz poll rate and anytime my mouse goes passed 1000hz the FPS tanks alot I would like to use the better response time with my mouse in this game but it really hurts the game play.
I have a Beefy PC so I dont think its me unless Im wrong but I have:
Ryzen 7 5800x
24gb of ram
RTX 2080ti
Game is install on my M.2 SSD

Anything over 1000hz polling is snake oil.
Extreme polling rates causing issues is known, you should just lower it while playing osu!

I get 2khz stable with my Razer Viper 8k anything above and I get freezes.

Ryzen 3600
16GB RAM
1050 Ti

This issue isnt limited to mice, my keypad polls constantly at 1k regardless of input (which isn't the right thing to do but its my reality) and the fps drops hard on my laptop while moving my mouse (yes at 1khz) with the keypad plugged in
my desktop can handle it sure but it means i cant use my keypad on my laptop...

I work around this by using mcosu on my laptop (since i dont really need online when im traveling anyways) but thats still rather inconvenient
