00:50:969 (1,2,3,4) - i don't hear anything in the music that indicates 00:51:410 (2) should be there :( However, I do hear some singing at 00:51:587, add a note here?
00:55:734 (3,4,5,1) - Hmm I don't completely agree with the spacing here. 3,4, and 5 seem like they should have similar spacing because it's part of the same verse that the singer is singing, and a new verse starts where 1 is. How about making the jump occur at 1, not 3?
02:21:312 (1,2,3,4) - same comment as in 00:50:969 (1,2,3,4)
02:51:841 (1) - personally i don't think a spinner fits here :/ Try mapping it?

Uhh.. First time modding, because you requested me to. T^T!!
I'm not sure how to format this post correctly, bear with me.. I'll try my best. >w<!!

[Insane]
Overall opinion is good, but it's a bit spinner heavy. >w<!

For starters, the lead-in time seems a bit long, I'd personally prefer starting from 00:11:440 - the 'tinny' beat is nice >w<
And then from 00:21:322 (1) to 00:22:381 (5) a short break for the "Are you ready?" would fit nicely instead.
How you have it at the moment is a little confusing because you start on a vocal beat but the next hit note at 00:21:498 instead follows the instrumental beat and if you listen to the pattern of that instrumental prior to this, it's as if you're starting halfway through that pattern, the instrumental pattern starts at 00:19:910

00:51:410 (2) and 02:21:753 I don't feel the 2 notes at the ending of the slider at times like these make much sense (unless this is just a mapping style.. I don't know?! >w< There doesn't seem to be beats on these notes)

The map lacks triples, and favours sliders covering 3 beats (a slider end point leading into another slider), I personally feel this is a bit too easy for an insane map and may be considered a bit repetitive, perhaps change a few to triples? (This is mostly personal preference I suppose because the way it is mapped is fine and difficulty is subjective)
Examples where these start: 00:26:175 and 00:28:998

02:07:194 - I don't feel this spinner should start as early as it does, it overlaps with beats of which could be mapped differently and is inconsistent with the spinner at 03:38:860 starting on prolonged beat.
I'd recommend moving it to 02:08:694 and ending it on 02:09:665 so it ends at the same time as the prolonged beat, and then add a single hit circle at 02:10:018 to follow on with the single beats leading on from there.

For the part replacing the start of this spinner, I think 3 repeat sliders may go nicely, like this:
02:07:194 to 02:07:459 and 02:07:635 to 02:08:165 and 02:08:253 to 02:08:518
I'm not too sure how to position them though~ T^T

02:51:841 (1) - As Raose mentioned, I don't agree with this spinner either, mapping the vocals would be nicer. :3

03:41:782 (1) - Personally feel this slider would be better ending at 03:42:047 and add a hit circle where it used to end at 03:42:311 or at least make it a repeat to capture that sound at 03:42:047

Don't think there's anything else I can critic with this, the rest is pretty good. ^w^
I would try the other difficulties but I spent all morning with this one and I need to sleep, I'll comment on the others when I next have time. >w<!

On these sliders that are ending on red ticks in the beginning, do you think you could add a hitsound to help accentuate that it really isn't ending on a solid beat to aid the player? Even just adding a clap worked well for me.
01:30:498 (1,2) - I kind of expected the whistles to be on the peak of the phrase, not the trough.
02:23:253 (5,1) - This might be a bit tricky. Most of your stacks under slider ends have been pretty nice, but this one might be a bit beyond the scope of a Normal difficulty. Applies to all the ones in this section.
02:55:194 (1,2) - Same here, it seems. Just try to aim for a steady rhythm when you're putting objects under slider ends for Normals. There are more, but I'm sure you can find 'em easy enough. q:

OD +2 at least.
02:06:400 (7,8) - Move down and right two grids to adjust for stacking.
03:38:958 (1) - This spinner feels like a cop out, honestly. q:

Some Kiai Sections aren't snapped as well. Please check AiMod for those sections.



Also, your white/grey combo colors are very similar. They are actually really difficult to tell apart when using default skin. Please make the grey color darker.

00:21:675 (2,3) - How about making this a 1/2 slider instead? By doing so you allow the next notes to be their own separate pattern. I suggest this because i think you could definitely map a circle to 00:22:557 -.
00:25:910 (2,3) - Would look nicer if you didn't fully overlap the sliderhead of 3 under 2. Something like what you did here: 00:23:087 (2,3) - . I think you should either stick with fully overlapping, or partially (but not a mix of both, for consistency).
00:28:734 (2,3) - ^
00:29:616 (1,2) - Your previous pattern had an overlap that was 1/4 spaced, but here you use the same structure, having the next object right under the slider-end. I feel players might be prone to clicking too early, since this structure follows right after 00:28:734 (2,3) - . Maybe position circle 2 elsewhere?
00:40:381 (2) - 368||303
00:42:145 (2,3) - I think Ctrl+G'ing this rhythm would play better. Players can appreciate having something to "click" on 00:42:498 - Since it's a significant beat imo.
00:58:557 (3) - Try rotating this slider by 25 degrees anti-clockwise from selection center. This creates a nice perfect triangle between the slider-end, 4, and 5. Also, it would improve the flow slightly since the angle won't be as sharp.
01:00:145 (3) - Purely nit-picking here, but, rotate this slider 1 degree anti-clockwise from selection center so its' perfectly straight lol.
01:04:734 (2,3) - I also think Ctrl+G'ing the rhythm here would play better. 01:05:087 - Plays would want to "click" here since it's a strong beat.

01:57:312 (1,2,3,4) - I'm really not sure what you're mapping to here x____x. 01:57:488 - 01:57:841 - 01:58:194 - Are good notes to map to, but i really don't hear significant beats on the blue ticks that would warrant this rhythm.

03:03:841 (2) - 109||57 ? It looks like your intention here was to overlap slider-end with 4 from previous slider.
03:13:370 (4,5,6,7) - This is rather confusing imo. The gap between 4>5>6 is 1/2, but from 6> 7 it's 1/1. This will lead players to clicking 7 too early. How about having slider 7 blanket 5? that way there is a larger gap from 6>7.

00:30:851 (6,1) - I don't really like how this flows. I see what you're trying to do, making 6 parallel to the tail-section of 1, but the angle the player has to turn after clicking on 1 is really sharp.
00:31:734 (2,3) - Here too, but I think if you just blanketted 3 you could fix this.
01:02:263 (1,2) - Could blanket this better imo.
01:06:322 (6) - 68||183
01:50:077 (1,2) - I don't think you should put such a rhythm on a Hard :P Even the rhythm here on Insane isn't as complex (Insane only uses 1/2 slider, then a triplet at the end, which also fits better imo)

00:52:557 (3,4) - I wish you could make this flow a bit better from 3 > 4. It wouldn't hurt to use the upper-part of the screen here. I think you could rearrange 2, 3, 4 without having to move much else around. Maybe something along this line? More circular flow.
00:58:557 (5) - This slider touches the hp bar on my screen (I'm using 1680 x 1050).
01:22:028 (2,3) - This is a huge jump on a normal... The DS is 1.96 o.o
02:01:547 (1,2,3) - Maybe move 3 a bit so that it creates a straight line with 1, and 2?
02:18:488 (1,3,4) - Not sure if you intended this or not, but slider 4 isn't parallel with the other two sliders.
02:25:371 (4,5,6) - Why suddenly red ticks? I think you should just keep the rhythm here. Shift everything back half a beat so they're all on white ticks. I think it's more important to keep a consistent rhythm on Normal. You should continue and follow the drums, rather than suddenly switch to vocals mid-combo.
02:22:547 (3,4,5) - ^Forgot to mention, but this is the same idea.
02:28:194 (4,5,6) - Etc...
02:31:018 (4,5,6,7) - Similar. I realize the drums fade out here so maybe map 02:30:841 - . And the rest you could map to sliders? Since the music does fade out, so it would make sense to have less objects or less "clicks".

03:46:547 (2,3) - Slider instead? This is a slow section. I think for harder diff's putting two circles here wouldn't be bad for stylistic purposes, but on a Normal, given how the song is fading and all, a slider just fits better.

There are a number of Spacing Issues (As well a few unsnapped objects) that AiMod brought up, so please address those too.

00:59:440 (1,2) - I think you could blanket this better.
01:05:087 (1) - Maybe put a 1/1 slider here instead?
01:19:204 (2,3) - How about a 1/1 slider here too to cut down on note density? 3 circles in a row is usually fine, but you could always make this easier right? xD
01:30:145 (5,1,2) - I really don't think this flows nicely on Easy... How about something like this? Just roughly mapped to give you an idea ;o.

  2. 00:21:322 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - might wanna change the spacing of this and stuff, hard to get down. the vocals aren't too prominent so it might take more than 1 try too if you decide to keep it.
  3. 00:35:263 (4,5,1) - spacing here is not readable off the bat, consider stacking 3, 4, and 5. or you can mix something up that fits. maybe make 5 a slider to smooth out the spacing between 5 and 1. very minor though, considering you use it a lot.
  4. 00:35:969 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - following the previous rhythm, where 00:36:851 - isn't on a sliderend fits much more appropriately.
  5. 01:32:087 (6,7) - reading rip
  6. 01:57:312 (1) - adding 1 circle at the head of these sliders makes this pretty fun, however it might go against your intentions. currently the 1/4 sliders with 1/2 spacing player very weird, akin to 1/2 sliders in Normals with 1/1 spacing, too short of a rhythm for any 'feeling', in my opinion. players are just gonna spam then anyway since that what 1/4 sliders are all about now.
  7. 03:41:782 - consider changing BPM to 85, so there isn't crazy sliderticks. might cause a sliderbreak.

  8. you could do away with the short SV changes, they don't feel very necessary. DS should always be constant (its fine to be a bit higher for sliders, but don't switch between 1.3 to 1.2), and can vary for maximum 0.5x for jumps imo to reduce confusion, considering you abide to DS on 1/1 jumps as well. general stuff yea, map is fine.

I highly recommend you to use japanese version of anime title in the source since we can't be sure if capitalized title is real romanisation or just a stylization of the title. Use セイクリッドセブン as source, please.
How about reducing AR in Hard and Insane by 0.5? AR gap between Normal and Hard is pretty huge, and reducing it can help; and lowering AR in the Insane will just make it look somehow old-styled and awesome. Ah, and I recommend to increase AR in Normal by 1 too to evade that gap.

I must clarify I don't want to be rude or something with this, but I just wonder if it's possible. Because I've received many mods which told me "overlaps" are unrankable on Easy diffs.

We have found some potential issues that we feel are important enough to address before continuing:

Xakyrie's Hard

Changes in guest difficulty without permission

  • Xakyrie requested a disqualification as the difficulty made by them was qualified without their agreement or approval. The best solution is contacting the mapper directly and working a solution together with him. Although removal of the difficulty is an option too

If you disagree with these suggestions, please reply to this thread justifying why so we can discuss alternatives.

Otherwise, please reply to this thread when these issues are resolved.

Thanks for working with us towards higher quality beatmaps, we hope to see your beatmap ranked soon!

It's been so long I don't even remember what changes I made to Xakyries guest diff or if I made changes at all lol, I wonder if someone still has the old version of this mapset so I could check what I changed if anything at all..
Anyways, I'll remove the difficulty then since I don't feel like bothering Xakyrie regarding this any further, she has been inactive for almost 8 months so I didnt bother to contact her about this.
Kinda sad to get rid of the Hard diff like this since a lot of work went into it but can't change how things are~
