Some people don't like official localisations because they are inaccurate, not funny, etc, etc, etc. It's nice to make an opportunity for every player to make their own localisations where they can change whatever they want. I suggest to make a local.ini file and paste it to any skin folder. Opinions, please!

Hmm... nice idea. I'm definitely gonna use this if it gets implemented. Might be nice to see custom text.

Low priority tho, and I don't think peppy's gonna implement it since it isn't necessary.

Still, I support this.

If the localizations you're using are so incorrect that they bug you, why not fix them yourself? The localization document is editable to anyone.

Skin-specific localisations would be hilarious(ole ivars, anyone?), but doesn't serve much of a purpose apart from that.

In fact, there's a folder called "Localisation" which contains your so-called local.ini being kept as {language code}.txt. You can edit it to whatever you wish.

Please comment on translations that are frequently trolled and post the correct translation. I'll be happy to edit it back every time it's changed (unless the changer posts a comment as well explaining why it's valid)

well, to prevent the [localisation].txt changes each time open osu (because "Localisation update", maybe because hash check or whatever from server side) try to put read-only when you're ready with it

Because trolls with always change it back to their "funny" translation.
you can make your own "funny" local lol

Not useful imo. As Millhiore said, if the officiel localisation is incorrect, you can edit it yourself in the Google Doc.
And yeah, you can edit "xx.txt" in the Localisation folder if you want to create a funny one for yourself.

Nah, it's just redownloaded each time you change language in osu! or after every update, not every time the game is started.
