Switched to Wrist-Up. Why do my hands and arms hurt?

Hello! I recently (2 days ago really lol) switched to Wrist-Up playstyle. It helps me a lot, especially on Streams and Jacks, but after only 1 hour of playing my hands and arms hurt like nothing else in the world. Didn't experience that with wristdown style. Where does it hurt: on the palm, outside side, a bit lower than knuckles, you could say almost in center of the hand, and the first, lower part of the upperarm. What do I do?

part of it might be because wrist up requires much more stamina than wrist down, causing you to get tired quicker, but it might also mean you need to change your posture. pain from playing can happen for some reasons mentioned by this thread: community/forums/topics/1302133

some things mentioned in the thread arent relevant to a wrist up playstyle, though takeaways are that you should not bend your wrists too much, and that you should make sure your fingers are somewhat perpendicular to your playing surface.

if the pain persists for a few days of playing wrist up after you change your technique to fit better with the thread above, than go back to wrist down

Hi.

I switched to wrist-up half a year ago, and some pain or tiredness is normal because you are using muscles you haven't been using. But if the pain persists even after a week you should consider going back to wrist-down.
