Problem details:
After one or two maps osu will cap out at 200 fps (its usually 1000+).
This, in turn, causes my input delay to skyrocket from sub 1 to over 5 or 6.
(In game not menu) ^^
Things I have tried and didn't work:
-Changing frame limiter from unlimited to optimal, no change, if anything worse.
-Adjusting Nvidia settings
-Following the troubleshooting guide
-Switching release streams
-Switching to compatibility mode
-Reinstalling osu! after deleting all associated files and temp files and restating PC.
-Making osu top task priority
-Fully closing all other applications
-Updating windows
-Enabling (and disabling) "game mode" in windows settings.

Something that works but is a bad "fix":
if I press my windows key, to minimize the fullscreen application, then close the taskbar viewer, it will go back to normal for one map-restart.
For obvious reasons this isn't sustainable but it's what I've been doing.
What I think might have caused this:
I used to run osu! perfectly well, but i uninstalled windows and switched to linux a few months back. I totally wiped and overwrote my entire SSD before reinstalling windows again, acting as a fresh install. After this second install of windows I've had this issue.
OS: Win 10

(all release streams have same issue)
If nobody knows I'll probably just reinstall windows again tbh maybe that will fix it, however I'll wait a couple days before doing something major like that given bad osu! preformance is my only issue with this install.
