Single player co-op

One thing i like with multiplayer is co-op where you only have to hit certain notes, so i was thinking there could be a mod it makes your score unranked but it has AI fill in for where other players would if it was multiplayer, i think it would also help for practice on harder songs, you could do what you can and where the AI is doing you can watch and see where the notes go then try and do it without the co-op


(also, i know it's nothing to do with this but what exactly is the tempo trainee thing under my picture? like, what do i do to change it?)

i can't see this going very far.

also the Tempo Trainee is your forum rank. it increases once you get a certain amount posts. at 500 you hit Rhythm Incarnate and thats the highest you can get unless you get added to a special team like the BAT or GMT :p forum doesn't really mean much though xD

ah, alright thanks, and yeah, i don't think any of my ideas will really get anywhere, but, no harm in showing them

I wouldn't mind something like this. It could be called Coop Practice. I could imagine myself playing it more than actual coop. It would certainly promote more people to play regular coop.

That sounds like a good name for it thanks for the input that's exactly the kind of thing i was thinking, lol, i like playing co-op but sometimes i want to practice it without the...i guess you could say "fear" of making everyone else fail, so you can practice at co-op and get better at some song till you get the hang of it

Support it, but i've dont got any stars anymore :/

nice idea though, you shhould be able to set up how you want to do, if you like to do a two man coop or 3 man or 4 man

toggleable like on mania with 4k 5k 6k andd 7k

The others players is just AI.

This could also be a good trainee for tag coop tournaments

For an example of how this would work, play the TAG1 difficulty on this map: http://osu.ppy.sh/b/136478 (might wanna disable skin so it's less confusing though, confusion is part of the normal gimmick)

Pretty cool idea, I'm not sure it'd be worth implementing though. Let's wait for more opinions.

Support this. Not too bad at all, for many songs this is particularly effective as a way of practice, since many parts are repetitive. Furthermore, you don't have to waste your strength in NF mode. It makes the game more friendly, too. And it reminds people - there is a mode called coop, rofl.

very true, but i've noticed more that people don't want to play co-op when i go into multiplayer, there are a few people that play it but from the large variety of of people i've played with it seems co-op itself isn't that popular. That's why i thought this idea wouldn't really get anywhere

It's for sure an interesting idea, but I'm not sure how many people actually want this, or would use this. gl :)

Ahmmm... Is it possible that the auto mod for osu!mania can be modified? :3
For example in 7K, the player could set 1 to 6 keys that he/she would like to be played by the computer and of course, the rest is to played by the player. :D
Ahmmm.. This would be a GREAT help for those not playing 5K and 7K (because of the SPACE. =3=;) -- like me -- and could practice the game keys before playing ranked. :)
Of course, this will be set to UN RANKED mode. :)

I don't know if this is a duplicate feature request. But I'm VERY VERY VERY happy if this is already in the process of development. :)
