Hello, I want to spread the news about this new game, Samurai Taisen that I've been developing for several months along with some of my friends. This doesn't have any direct relation to anime though, but I thought you guys might like it (well I hope) since it has Visual Novel elements and anime-styled so I decided to put it up here just like what I did to my previous game Sentou Gakuen. This game will be released at May 6th 2013, as for the time, you might check the original site for more info
What is Samurai Taisen?
Samurai Taisen (侍大戦, Samurai Great Wars) is a Web-based MMORTS set in Sengoku Period (Warring States Period of Japan). A time of social upheaval, political intrigue, and military conflict that lasted roughly from the middle of the 15th century to the beginning of the 17th century. Players will begin their path as Ji-samurai, lords of small rural domains in feudal Japan. Develop your lands, gather your troops, train your samurai, build your own mighty clan, do political manouvers, and or crush others who are trying to obstruct your path to the title of the "Shogun"
Employ Komusō to gain intelligence, Hire ninja and geisha to eliminate your foes. Make allies or enemies, the choice is yours.
Factions
In Samurai Taisen there are four major forces: Date Clan, Uesugi Clan, Takeda Clan, Oda Clan. Each of them has their own characteristics. Players may also choose to stay independent as Ronin.
Date Clan
SPOILER
Date warriors are manifestation of the bushido itself. They are fierce and unforgiving to any who dare to oppose them. They are prepared to go to war against rival clans and buddhist monks alike in their relentless pursuit of power.

Ronin
SPOILER
As well as the great Clans, Japan also has many smaller factions. These include Ronin, masterless samurai on a quest for wealth and honour; smaller neutral clans who will fight fiercely for their independence; And rebellious peasants who have tired of the opression of their masters. Many regions of Japan are already under the control of these factions, but as history progresses they will continue to take advantage of this opportunities.

Tokugawa Clan (Unplayable)
SPOILER
The early history of this clan remains a mystery. In Samurai Taisen, Tokugawa Clan is a NPC (Non Playable Clan) that will be appeared at end-game, that will act hostile towards players and without hesitation will attack them in order to claim the Shogun and to unify Japan.
According to history, Tokugawa will then beat all of the Daimyo and finish them up at Battle of Sekigahara, the beginning of the Tokugawa bakufu. However in this game, Players will be given chance to fight them.
