smooth cursor

does anyone know how to get a completely smooth cursor trail?
All the tutorials in youtube just extends the trail not actually making the trail smooth.

Step 1: create a 1x1 *blank* image and rename it "cursormiddle"
Step 2: resize the "cursor" file to ~40-60 pixels depending on how big you want your cursor to be (the smaller it is, the more smooth it'll be), save.
Step 3: resize the "cursortrail" file to ~15-25 pixels, save.
Step 4: Reload your osu skins
Step 5: Make your cursor size 2x
