MOD Request submission on 11-9-13

REMINDER: I am not a heavily experienced modder, but i know my ways in mapping. ;)

General/All modes:

Your background is too large, suggest finding an image with 1366 x 768 resolution or smaller.

A considerable chunk of the beatmap is Kiai timed. Some isn't needed such as in 00:21:470. Suggest removing some of these.

It is generally a bad idea to put circles on blue ticks. ( 3/4 beats and 1/4 beats ) Refrain from doing so when mapping.

You need an easy mode to be able to be ranked.

Major: AiMod shows that a good chunk of notes in ALL modes have distance snapping issues, fix this please.

Normal Mode:

It seems to resemble an easy mode with its CS 3, slider speed, and amount of circles, I recommend adding more beats and increasing the circle size to around CS 4, OR just switch it to easy mode. :idea:

Overlapping notes is generally a shaky idea when in any mode, its okay, but just a hint. :P

Hard Mode:

There are many sliders that start on blue ticks, I suggest moving them to a white or red one. There are many that have a note in front of them that do, these are okay, if there are any lone sliders I suggest move em.

Again the mode seems to resemble the one mode tier below it, Normal Mode, I suggest lowering the mode to normal.

Insane Mode:

Again blue ticks with sliders 'n notes. Since this is insane, this isn't too much of a problem. I still recommend moving them.
Note: Some sliders END on blue ticks, this is alright.

Same as the last one, this mode seems to resemble Hard Mode, I suggest lowering it.



Remember to add Kudosu to mods, they help the modder a lot and can get some songs approved, maybe even yours!

  1. ...Why is the BG's resolution 1280x917? The height exceeds the maximum height that is enforced by the rules. Also, I think you should find a BG with 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio so it won't look weird while playing (because it's going to be stretched either way). Just change this into something that's actually rankable.
  2. The song is sung by Tiara and WISE (I think you can hear a guy rapping throughout the song, too, right?), so change the artist to Tiara. feat WISE (or maybe add "feat. WISE" to the title, since it looks like most websites place "feat. WISE" in the title). Also, change the title to Toki wo Tomete? No matter how do you look at it, the current romaji doesn't feel correct at all...

  3. 01:25:575 - Remove the whistle here and add one at 01:25:891 (3) instead, because the piano is stronger at 01:25:891?
  4. 01:28:417 - Also add a whistle here to follow the piano?
  5. 02:00:944 (2,3,4,5) - IMO, this pattern is too linear, and it makes the flow very rigid and awkward here. I recommend to make a less linear flow, maybe like this for example.
  6. 02:20:207 (5) - This is very minor, I know, but maybe move this so it's higher than 02:19:891 (4)? For example, move it to (260,188)? This helps in emphasizing the increase of the music's power.
  7. 02:37:891 (1,2,3,4,5) - Why are (2,3) stacked here? The music has nothing that can be represented well with the stack. Maybe make a pentagon out of these five objects, instead?
  8. 02:47:365 (3,1) - Make a jump between them to emphasize the cymbal at 02:47:996 (1)?
  9. 02:52:417 (3,1) - ^
  10. 03:01:260 (2,3) - ^ (This seems to happen a lot. Sometimes, you made a jump when a cymbal's sound is heard, but sometimes you don't. I recommend to make jumps out of them to accentuate the strong points in the song.)
  11. 03:29:681 (3,4,5,6) - I also think this pattern is a little too linear, like 02:00:944 (2,3,4,5). Make it more curved so the flow here will be better?

  1. ...I don't know why, but despite this being a 95 BPM song, the intensity is pretty high to the point where I can consider this a 190 BPM Insane with a lower velocity. And I actually feel more comfortable with AR9 instead of AR8, because of the map's pace. Maybe try it? I know this will conflict with how relaxing is the song, though, so it's okay to keep the AR to 8. For me, though, it just feels a little slow with AR8.
  2. 02:16:417 - Add a whistle here to follow the piano?
  3. 02:16:733 (2,3,4,5,1,2) - Uh, the current rhythm and placement isn't comfortable, at least for me... Try changing (2,3) to a 1/4 slider, unstack (4,5), and make a jump between (1,2)? The reason is too hard to be explained, so I guess you should try this by yourself~ (Essentially, I want you to use a pattern like 02:56:838 (2,3,4,5,1,2), except with a jump between (1,2).)
  4. 02:57:944 (1,2) - Also make a jump between them to emphasize the cymbal at 02:58:102?
  5. 03:23:365 (1,2,3,4) - The flow is awkward here, don't you think? You should invert the direction of the curve on all the sliders here to make a nicer flow, but then again, it's not that big of a deal, so feel free to leave it as is.

00:20:222 (1,2,3) - The (1) doesn't really flow into the shape of (3) properly, so adjust one of the two so that it flows better? Also delete the (2), since 1. there's nothing in the music to warrant it being there, 2. to be consistent with 00:25:275 (2,3) - .
00:27:959 (2,3) - Change the shape of (3) to be (2) rotated 180 degrees?
00:32:696 (2) - Move to x:244 y:64? I think it flows better here. At least move it up and left a bit.

00:20:222 (1,2,3) - The (1) doesn't really flow into the shape of (3) properly, so adjust one of the two so that it flows better? Also delete the (2), since 1. there's nothing in the music to warrant it being there, 2. to be consistent with 00:25:275 (2,3) - .OK but I think there has の follow the music so dont plan to delete 2

很抱歉我的图坑了太久
当时对自己的倒数第二个版本依然很不满意,狠下心换SV重做,rank时和之前已经是两张图了
最后还算是有始有终吧,能坚持下来连我自己也有点惊讶,大概还是不想糟蹋这首歌

总之恭喜rank,希望以后也能有所合作~(我依然很拖,diff完成后一改再改,改几个月也乐此不彼 lol
