So I figured this wouldn't be too much of a big deal to implement. Backgrounds are already 100% dimmable now, with the requirement of playing the map once. I figure it wouldn't be a problem to choose what color background you would like to play on. For instance, a grey background would contrast well against stuff with a black outline. It could improve gameplay for some players and I see no harm in implementing it upon the same conditions that 100% dim works with.
