Hello, I am Moichu I started getting into mapping when I am getting a bit bored or need a break from osu, anyways I found in fun and need some tips, since some of the mapping I have done is not really good, and I know we all start some where but I think tips might help me, I have scanned several beat maps, such as "Teo", "Rel" , And some slower songs and faster ones, to get some inspiration, but I think tips and tricks advice and ect.. Will help me get a better grip and save me time on creations, I would really appreciate help and thank you for your time if you are reading this!!

First of all, this is the modding queues subforum where people make queues and request for mods on said queues

Secondly, there are a handful of mapping videos that you can binge on to get a good grasp of the ideas that you need to apply to mapping, you can look up pishifat's videos as an example.

Lastly, alot of people will tell you to "just make more maps" because learning is alot faster when you do it and not when somebody tells you to do something. Once you have an idea of what is "good" and what is "bad". The best way to improve is to be self-critical, analyze your maps and analyze what makes it bad or what is missing from it to make it good. It's very handy to have a map to take inspiration from so you can directly compare your work to an already succesful one. (You can even try mapping the same song for an even more direct comparison)
