When you're in a multiplayer lobby that's 4-4.99* and have that one 5 digit player who always comes in and picks a 5.04* map for you to begrudgingly fail. Why not allow multiplayer lobbies to have a filter based on search for maps that are allowed in the lobby. for instance "stars>4 stars<5" would prevent the above. But if you wanted a lobby for only short songs you could set the theoretical filter to "length<120" and the hosts would only be allowed to choose songs less than 2 minutes in length.

I think this would allow for a much wider variety of host rotating multiplayer lobbies if something like this was introduced to the game.

Who is allowed to set this then? If the host really wants to break your gaming experience then they can just change these filters since they are host anyway.

Was presumably only the original host that would be allowed to set this, in the same way that (to my knowledge) only the original host of a room is allowed to do commands like !mp host [name]
