Really a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG work for this one :O :D -__-
I realized all the storyboard, even in case of passing or failure. 2 breaks and only 1 ending (ehi! this is my first try!) but i think this is really cool :D

3 difficulty are available: easy - normal - hard (if you wanna try the insane download the attachment HERE, but it's not ranked)

Thanks to HarryOrunita for helping me with the english (i really sucks in english lol), look the post belove for an idea of all the work i have to do for this map ;)

Sorry if my drawings totally sucks but:
- i sucks in drawing too :D
- i don't have a tablet
- this is THE FIRST TIME i draw on a pc O_O

Edit 1: Followed Card N'FoRcE suggestions
Edit 2: Optimized all the Sprites, for have less "trasparent pixel"
Every difficulty have minor hp drain and the insane one now offer a 1000 notes combo!
Edit 3: Some bugfix in design mode
Edit 4: Hard is now more easy, some bugfix in insane
Edit 5: Offset is now perfect
Edit 6: Followed some JInxyjem's suggestions
Edit 7: Some changes in insane
Edit 8: Totally remake of the Insane
Edit 9: Normal have bigger circle now
Edit 10: Deleted the insane difficult :( It was a 20m difficult and impossible to be ranked.. if you wanna try it download the attachment HERE :)

Program Used for this work:
- ndssndext (for rip sounds from my original ouendan 2 dump)
- Premiere Elements (for made the new mp3 with starting ouendan sounds)
- Photoshop (a GREAT help for drawing and graphic edit)
- 3d studio max (i'm not good in drawing so i preferred render the ambient)

i have 227 temp files for a total of 75.3mb (comprending pics, sounds, psd and max files)

I can't believe i'm modding this one, imho it's worth an insta-rank.

Offset: 68990 (fix all inherited sections too)

- Easy:
03:14:14 (2) - it's too close

- Normal:
01:27:02 (3,4) - D:
03:36:41 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - i don't like this too much, but i guess it's ok
04:15:55 (1) - too close to 5 D:
05:13:90 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - OMG maybe too much? D:

- Hard:
00:39:89 (1) - 02:58:90 (1) - The only two beats i think that are spaced wrong, but actually easily doable. Check and decide what to do ^^
05:14:85 (1) - illegal spinner? D:

- Insane
01:51:40 (1) - 02:58:90 (1) -
03:17:89 (1,2,3,4,5) - 03:16:02 (1,2,3,4,5) - fix position of 3s

Argh.. ok it will take a long work i suppose :(
i made all the sprites 800x600 for have less problems..

i hope i can finish in 2 o 3 days

edit: btw.. it's a little odd.. load time depends from loading in vram (and it must load only 7,31mb of sprites, how can take 8 seconds?) , the trasparency requires only more gpu power :\
i'm still optimizing sprites for the gpu sake ;)

For clarification: each sprite at 1024x768 uses 3.14mb on your graphics card's RAM. 800x600 is 1.92mb, 640x480 is 1.22mb. This is why I set a maximum size of 640x480 on storyboards (so people with 64~128mb VRAM wouldn't have a problem with storyboards). Consider osu! itself uses over 50mb just to load the skin and whatnot. Swapping images in and out of video memory is very expensive and causes stuttering and lag.

That said, 800x seems to work okay in this case - but in future I'd consider 640x instead.

This made me lol on so many levels. The map is great. I don't see any staggering spacing or timing errors. And the storyboard makes it all the better. Have a fragile mtmcl bubble. (+ star)

ok fixed all, but i think it's really impossible to rank that insane one :(
Even with tick rate at 1 i see more than 16m as max score.. still too much..

ok i leave only that 3 difficulties :P

I won't rank this yet, I'm not sure about the ,99 BPM, but it sounds pretty good. Just have a fragile bubble.

mhh yeah it don't sounds cool.. i made it longer now, it sounds better :D

Important for Bat and expert modders:
I want to insert a insane difficult (see the attachment) but it's score is > 20m :\
Any suggestion for it? No-one will rank a over 20m difficult :(

and for once i'll be the voice of dissession.
I longly hesitated bewteen rating it 1/10or not rating it at all.i choose the second option.

This is the proof that people tend to forget this is a rythm game,not a "check your visual abilities"stuff.True,the storyboard is well made(even if i didnt really enjoy it i can't deny its quality).But seriously,can you even call this a beatmap?
Ihmo it should have been posted on youtube without beats as a gift to peppy,not a map.

...Or at least making that story in a video format so you can shutdown it when you actually want to play the map.
(besisdes it makes me lagging and i can't do anything about it.)

Then, you're saying that the whole storyboard feature is useless.
Storyboard was implemented to let users make "stories" like the ones you can find in Ouendan/EBA.
Video isn't the same thing: the storyboard keeps changing as you play well or bad and videos can't do that.

Maybe the map itself is not epic, but the storyboard makes it so, deal with it.
Anyway, too bad you didn't like that: you can't find may maps fully storyboarded here because the HUGE amount of time it takes.

sorry if beatmap sucks.. it was in "pending" for about 1 month, now it's too late to say that :? (anyway, i modded that map almost everyday for made it "cool".. i hope i can make better maps next time :( )

it's not your fault, you don't have to feel sorry. I think the beatmap was pretty well made. The beatmap sure as hell had rhythm. That guy is just angry cause he has a faulty rig to play it on, or maybe couldn't beat the map at all, I honestly believe that people hate on maps they can't beat (which I don't and am greatly AGAINST). Even if you hate a map, doesn't mean you give it a 1/10, what ever happened to 2-6, 1s are just for VERY POOR MAPPING, which is hard to find these days due to large number of modding. Anyways, if the map was bad, why did A BAT and THE CREATOR OF THE GAME sacrifice their own kudosu for just a storyboard, surely they had to see some thought onto the map itself.

P.S. I too agree there should be a "no storyboard" mod.

just a second post ot say that the reason i didnt enjoy the map is NOT that i didnt enjoy it.(i had a b rank on insane despite huge lag so the matter isnt here).And they are plenty of maps that i can't beat(can't fc gojou kai yet,can't pass reveng-sakura in insane,can't pass the traveller by moonizz(but who can,heh),and i still really love them.

I can understand that people like to have a story behind music.I personally rather like to build it myxelf as i hear it,without being restricted by the mapper feelings.

Nactra, have you ever even played EBA/Ouendan? This is a tribute to it. In EBA/Ouendan you see a story going on in the background while you are playing. This is EXACTLY this. Now are you trying to say that giving a beatmap more depth, authenticity and replay value via storyboarding makes it not fun?
AlexanderPD worked on this for quite a while and with huge effort. This map doesn't deserve neither 1/10 nor a comment like that.
I don't mind that you have a personal opinion on this map. You don't have to like it. But if you are saying that this is not a beatmap, hell, gtfo my osu!.

Your actions only make you even more conspicuous as to what you really want to say. Your first post here already questions if this should even be called a beatmap, which is more of an insult rather than a constructive criticism/opinion. It's easy to say anything and call it "an opinion", but it's hard to see if you really did a good job at giving out your opinion in a non-degrading way, especially by yourself. Congratulations for making this beatmap! I think it is the best I've seen so far and without doubt I have laughed more once with my friends to see and understand everything that storyboard says.

A very good song entirely dedicated to the teacher peppy!
