How to add custom hit sounds to a map

Can someone help me understand how to add custom hit sounds to a beatmap. I'm mapping a 4k piano mania map and the regular hit sounds sound very bad. Any help would be appreciated. If you want to help please message me on discord --> PoseidonZeus#9373

For mania, thing will get much easier to add a custom hitsound to the map

Firstly, make sure that there are some audio soundz in your mapfile (Recommending .wav files). Go to File --> Open Song Folder and then add hitsounds from there.

Press Ctrl+Shift+I, choose the sound you want to import, choose the note you want to import the hitsounds and then click Import.
