looking for *slow* burst/stream maps

I'm an alternating tapper who is still very weak in my tapping hand. I've recently hit a bit of a wall where I can't fc any of the 3.2-3.7 star maps that I play because of a handful of bursts thrown in to the majority of my maps. If it has more than two notes, I'll probably miss. I'm getting a little suspicious that my (albeit minor) progress lately is that I'm getting better at mashing and I'd like to kill that at its source.

So I'm looking for unranked practice maps with small streams/bursts that are *very* slow. I'm struggling with the slowest I found - a 120 BPM 1/4 interval map - even with halftime on (so 240 BPM I guess?), so if someone knows of something even slower, that'd probably help a lot.

Here ranked 3.66* and unranked 3.99* with some triplet and decent length for practicing

While double time BPM multiplier is 1,5x, half time actually 0,75x. So 240 BPM with HT mod is 180 BPM not 120 BPM

You're playing only for about a month so don't worry. It's pretty common that you don't have enough stamina. Just play longer maps for a while until you develop a basic stamina to go with.

heres a map that might help you out

beatmapsets/72474#osu/207567

you should play it with no fail at first because the lenght is insanely high (4 minute)
dont worry if you cant complete at first. i also cant finish it rn.
i reccomend you to play this 3 times a day (in the morning, in the noon and night)
once you complete first one withut no fail then go to higher bpm.

also here is a map that improve your jumpings

beatmapsets/857624#osu/1791905

it might help your jumping skills.

Good Luck! :)

Thanks, these are working out pretty well!

It might be that I'm just thinking of stamina in the wrong way, but I actually have no problem playing super long maps, I just don't have the speed to pull off most bursts.

Interestingly enough, that's the exact stream practice map that I referenced in my original post.

As for the jump map, I'm actually pretty good with jumps. It is a really interesting map to read though! I'm doing my best to avoid those short jump maps because that's actually what I've heard causes people to get stuck with streams the way I have, but permanently.

Long Stream Practice Maps are not very well suited to learn bursts and streams, they're mainly good for training your stamina after you already got good at them.

beatmapsets/14906#osu/54321 87bpm 1/4 streams, very slow, especially SteRRuM's diff is good, fairly punishing on accuracy too
beatmapsets/54647#osu/178160 Fight69's Dificil, below 3*, 106bpm, should be very well suited for your needs.
beatmapsets/21310#osu/74401 can work, might already be too slow already as it's 1/3, not 1/4.
beatmapsets/118566#osu/304754 86bpm 1/6 map so effectively around 120bpm with doubles and quads mostly.
beatmapsets/10269#osu/40158 90bpm 1/4 but more aim required than the rest above

Generally speaking I can recommend playing any kind of older style map with a lot of singles. Modern maps have a lot more sliders in hard diffs, making them a lot less tapping intensive than they could be.
beatmapsets/7428#osu/31950 Normal
beatmapsets/6358#osu/29034 Hard
beatmapsets/1377#osu/12789 Hard
beatmapsets/10067#osu/39523 Hard
beatmapsets/12216#osu/46002 Hard
Some of these are also very punishing when it comes to mashing which makes them all the better in my opinion ;)

You also made me really nostalgic just now. I think I never had as much fun playing osu! as when I was playing most of these maps. There's also more where that came from in case that's really what you're looking for.

Wow, these are all great! Since they are also easier difficulties, this is probably the calmest beating I've taken in a while :P And the slower ones are also good for keeping my accuracy >80%. Thanks!
I gotta wonder what kind of speed cap there is on higher difficulties...
