When you're at the submission process, you can see the square area where you can write something-- thats the description box.
If you want to design it, then you could copy the BBCode thats used in the forum,
something like these, for the simple stuff you can figure it out. More tips here and other cod

where would you even have a description without submitting the map?
you can edit the description both in the editor when you submit the map and on the website at any time after submitting the map

Like what this person said, you do have to submit the map and make + edit the description, but it doesn't have to be complete and ready for ranking once you submit it if you didn't knowlewski wrote:
