I'm just trying to make a map of a dream theater song, but the longer the song plays the more out of time it gets, is it just the offset or something else?(BPM of the song is 125 btw)

if the offset is correct (aka the first NOTABLE sound is synced up with the metronome), then the bpm is the problem
unless the song requires more complex timing but i think that's not the point here since you said it gets more off within time, and not on a specific point
